Hello, my dear friends! It's so nice to be back with you!
We had a wonderful week in Washington DC. We stayed in Georgetown, which I love with its lovely little houses and antique shops. We did get around quite a bit visiting museums and well, doing what every tourist does. We had planned to go up to New York for a couple of days but that fell through as my husband was tied down with work. I'm sorry I wasn't able to post while I was there, so many things to do, so much to see. I'm sure you understand! And I will be catching up with answering all your e-mails and comments, as well as visiting your blogs as soon as possible!
Today's house was built in 1435 and is located in Haslemere, in Surrey, England. Oliver Cromwell's soldiers stayed here during the English Civil War. In 1912 it was divided into two separate houses but was joined together 50 years later. Now it belongs to Annie and Nicholas Jackson who have transformed it into their dream home.
Tour time once again my friends!
